Rotary Youth Exchange Comox Valley Conference

February 8 - 12, 2006 are the dates for the annual Rotary Youth Exchange Conference and Orientation in the Comox Valley. This quad-club event starts with the arrival of all the Exchange students in our District on Wednesday February 8.
The students will have dinner with members of all four Rotary Clubs in the Valley. The students will provide some entertainment for the evening before the head of to be hosted by local Rotarians.
Thursday the students are off bright and early (first ferry) to Powell River to spend the day returning on the last sailing back. Up early again on Friday for a day of skiing on Mount Washington returning home to spend a quite (?) evening with there host families. Saturday they have an orientation and lunch at the Big House, Olympic parade in the afternoon and a dance at the Soccer Club House in the evening. Sunday arrives and these great students from around the world head back to there host clubs and families throughout Vancouver Island and Northern Washington State.
Keep these dates open as each of the clubs will be looking for Rotarians to host these students for there short stay in the Comox Valley.
